Dharma

I’m taking a break from seeking the meaning of life to try to find my purpose in life.

Basically, I write down what “lights me up”, what my “gifts” are, what I feel my current “duties in life” are then put it all together into a chart and after that, I don’t know.

So far, I have:

Lights me up: 3rd glass of wine

Gifts: a blender (for my anniversary)

Duties: take out the garbage

And my chart looks like this:

  1. You make me laugh!

Hmmmm, I’ll have to think about my dharma…

I’m easy…everything seems to light me up… I’m an ignition.

Gifts – my down coat from my mom a good 7 years ago. God I love that coat! I love the wool socks she buys me every year and the warm sturdy boots. It’s like I’m still in elementary school…

My current duties…Lord, what isn’t my current duty. I feel responsible for everything. Is this the Italian or the Irish… Kristin says I need to work on this and I am…

So, what would my chart look like? And ignition on a car, down coat, socks and boots, and ???? yeah, I’m not going there… I suppose my duties now are dog profiles for a new customer in Alberta and what fine dogs Sage and Lu sound like. I can’t wait to see their pictures!

  2. Great start! You can cross bartender off the list (although it was looking promising at first)
