After I made the beans, I read the recipe and had two problems – first, I had pre-cooked the beans, forgetting that the recipe called for cooking the beans along with the veggies and second, the recipe seemed much more boring than I was craving so – I started over and re-created this soup.

bad news
Turned on my old kenmore to preheat for ginger cookies and within a minute I heard a cracking noise, like crumpling newspaper, coming from inside the oven. Opened the door and the back of one side of the heating element was flaming. Not what you want to see.

what to do with pork tenderloin
This was my dilemma. I made one a couple nights ago and it was yummy but I find that we rarely sit down to a 3-part meal meaning; meat, vegetable plus something to round it out.
