Good Morning Food Ponderers;

I did measure myself and placed the numbers in my calendar and am hoping to see some change – but not sure how long to wait before re-measuring.  I find that if its in the house, I will consume it – which leads me to the conclusion that I should not buy beer.  I’ll only drink it if its one of my favorites and Michael will buy/drink other kinds so, I’d like to follow through with that.

Otherwise, I have an endless container of roasted veggies, pesto, yogurt dressing and feta cheese that I can make healthy meals out of on demand.  The picking/snacking thing is a problem… I bought some sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, sesame sticks and dried bananas and mix a bit for a snack but find myself in the hand-to-mouth frenzy that would be found on youtube.  I don’t want to deprive myself and Maxwel and I love exploring new dark chocolates and I try to keep that in moderation but know that it may effect my numbers.

    I am putting effort into not buying what I should not eat…try to never go to Piggly Wiggly when hungry. Actually, the overflowing garden has lessened the trips to the store…although some items one cannot grow: organic milk, cheese, bread, peanut butter, etc. My organic eggs from a farm are delivered every other week. I have acquired an aversion to meat…not sure why. Have some great recipes to share. (The LONG message I sent a couple of days ago is gone…not sure how this blog works. Do all messages remain for only a short time or forever? Was I rejected? It was useful information…or too long?)
